Areas of Practice
Teaching
My teaching experience spans across primary schools, secondary schools and higher education. I have taught on initial teacher education programmes and developed curriculum content for primary physical education and secondary physical education. I have also taught and examined educational programmes at Masters and Doctoral level.
Writing and Research
Since completing my education doctorate in 2016, I have been engaged in writing and publishing in the field of primary physical education, teacher education and children’s wellbeing. I enjoy writing for a diverse audience and my writing features in books, peer reviewed articles, professional articles, blogs and encyclopedic entries.

Project Management
I have experience of working across diverse sectors including academic, charitable, local authority, commercial and private enterprise. Within these areas of work, I have been part of, or led, on both small and complex projects that have drawn upon my skills of grant writing, project management, budget setting, tracking and monitoring, training, delivery, evaluation, presenting and report writing.
